MMA Is For Kids
HOW OLD IS
YOUR CHILD?
KIDS AGES 9-12
This is an important age when kids when kids approach
middle school and then face the excitement and fear of
becoming a teenager. Martial arts training can give them
positive reinforcement and challenges to help prepare
them for what lies ahead. It can get tough as kids
navigate through these particular years and our training
will help them to become stronger physically,
emotionally, and mentally so they can be more successful
in the journey.
In a world that presents many challenges and temptations
we want to support parents in equipping kids to:
-
Say no to things that can harm their bodies.
-
Make a commitment and see it through.
-
Get back up when life knocks them down.
-
Emerge victorious from things that challenge them
physically.
-
Set regular goals and see them through to
achievement.
Our program is an innovative program specially designed
to impart these qualities. Of course, children want to
learn cool moves which are very practical and one of the
things they love most about our classes is that we have
FUN doing it.

TEENAGER
Get ready to get in serious shape and enjoy some
fantastic martial arts workouts. You will train like an
MMA fighter except you won’t get beat up in the
process. We like students to learn the basics and get
good at them before they are exposed to the next
challenge and step in their growth.
Mixed martial arts is all over television and the
internet these days. More and more teens want to get in
on learning the moves they see and hear about. We will
teach them the fundamentals of Muay Thai Kickboxing,
Wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu so they have a
well-rounded game. They will also learn practical
street defense skills just in case they ever have to
defend them selves. Of course, we teach all of our
students that using their skills is only appropriate for
self-defense situations. The good news is that most of
the time we can avoid those dangerous situations.
So what do you think? Would your teenager like to give

ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTION FROM PARENTS.
Is MMA (mixed martial arts) for my child?
Because our children are precious safety is a very high
priority. The exercises and drills we do in our kids
program are very safe. If a child is not comfortable
doing a particular exercise then they are free to stay
out of that drill.
Is it anything like the mixed martial arts I have seen
on television?
The only similarity is that we teach a mixture of
effective martial arts from around the world. We are
opposed to arrogance and disrespect in any fashion but
emphasize the qualities of respect and self-discipline.
Why do we use the techniques of mixed martial arts?
We teach these techniques because we want our students
to have a toolbox of techniques that they will find to
be very effective against resisting partners. In this
way they will build true confidence in their ability to
protect themselves.
What is your philosophy on self-defense?
We believe that most of the time we can avoid dangerous
situations. Through the use of awareness and clever
words we can talk our way out of most heated
encounters. We believe that a person should only use
the techniques we teach if they are attacked and then
only to a minimal degree. In other words, we only do
what we have to do to escape the situation. The good
news is that 99% of the time we can avoid or get out of
that kind of a situation.
What other benefits will mixed martial arts training
bring my child?
As students progress they will be challenged accordingly
and will find that they are able to do more than they
thought they could. They will build their strength,
endurance, and their ability to face pressure, stay
clam, and do the right thing.
Will it help my child socially?
Because MMA is so interactive most of the drills we do
involve a partner. This gives students many
opportunities to learn teamwork, respect, patience, and
kindness.
Lastly, MMA IS FUN!
We spend lots of our time trying to figure out more ways
for our students to learn their lessons and enjoy
themselves at the same time. Children learn so much
better when they are having fun.
